Look for us in the annual Elk Grove Western Festival the first weekend in May! Project R.I.D.E. participates in this fun, family-friendly event each year and we are already busy working on our entry for this year’s parade, themed “Celebrating our Western Heritage”. You can get involved as a volunteer by contacting our Volunteer Coordinator, or you can simply attend the event and enjoy the fun!

Parade Committee Update as of April 29, 2009:.
Volunteers please plan to meet us at the barn at 8:00am on Saturday. We will caravan to the staging area and will meet back here at approximately 1pm or whenever the parade is over. Dress code is black and white. Please call us and confirm your participation in the parade by Friday at 3:00pm!

What we need now is a huge supply of CANDY for the parade walkers to hand out to the crowd. Ask storekeepers and suppliers if they would like to donate to a good cause. Their donation is tax-deductible and we will provide Project R.I.D.E.’s tax ID number on request.
