Help make the life-changing benefits of therapeutic horsemanship available to every rider.

Opportunities to Give

At Project R.I.D.E., we believe every student deserves the chance to experience the life-changing benefits of therapeutic horsemanship. We recognize that families facing special needs often encounter overwhelming medical expenses, and that essential therapies and equipment are not always covered by insurance. That’s why we ensure our riders pay only a fraction of the true cost of lessons, making our programs accessible to more families.

Your generosity makes this possible. When you donate to Project R.I.D.E., you’re doing so much more than keeping our facility running and our horses healthy—you’re directly supporting riders in need, funding specialized adaptive equipment, and helping us maintain and expand our vital programs. Your gift may also offer tax benefits, but most importantly, it brings the reward of knowing you are making a meaningful impact in the lives of our participants and their families.

If you would prefer to make your donation by check, please make it out to Project R.I.D.E. Inc. and send to 8840 Southside Ave., Elk Grove CA 95624

Donate Your Tack

If you are a current or former equestrian, we invite you to donate your used tack—regardless of condition—to our program. We gladly accept halters, lead ropes, saddles, blankets, and other horse accessories. Your donated items will either be used directly in our program or consigned to help fund essential horse-related expenses.

Amazon Wish List

We have created an Amazon wish list of priority items we use. Some of the items are "horsey" stuff like fly masks, halters, lead ropes and hoof picks. Others are cleaning and facilities supplies. We also need office supplies, miscellaneous items, and raffle prizes. The list is updated regularly based on our current needs. If you notice items missing from the list, the list will be updated periodically.

If you have purchased any of these items and want to drop them off at our facility, or if you have questions about the list, please call us at (916) 685-7433. Thank you!
